The sound of the constant present. How long does the present last?
There is no past, no future as we stand on the edge of an everlasting dead end.
All that is left is hitherto; a hypothesis of equilibrium.
hiT͟Hərˈto͞o (phonetic transcription of hitherto) is an experimental techno project of Lenka Kocisova, also known as Akkamiau.
In addition to her contribution to the female:pressure network, she is a founding member of the multimedia art crew StratoFyzika, for which she creates spatial sound compositions inspired by metaphysics.
She recently received her PhD for her work in the field of audiovisual performance.
Aschka has been active for over a decade in the underground electronic music scene as a producer and live performer of raw tech house – with her Ibadan Records collaboration – and deep experimental works, including a string of releases on the now defunct San Francisco-based de’fchild recordings. As she continues to explore new worlds of sound, music and the making of it will always remain an emotional and transcendent experience.
Nobody knows exactly who or what fields-01 is. Some call em the master of weird house. Nobody can ever tell. There are some rumors that it's put together of various dead and semi-dead techno veterans. But one thing is definitely true that part of its heart is a real working 909. It is always seeking for new sounds with old machines, unorthodox chord progressions and memorable melodies. Always improvising live together with the love and the heart of the real soul singer Ennalow. Keeping the vibe correct as dj while using vinyl only and a bitter sweet of taste. The only true way of learning music is by Machine Learning algorithms.
